1916-1998　デンマーク
1916年コペンハーゲン生まれ。1942年にHolmgaardでグラスデザインの仕事はじめる。その後アートディレクターに就任しHolmgaardを代表するデザイナーに。Holmgaardでは澄み切ったような青空を思い出させる水色、厚手のガラス、オーガニックなフォルムなど特徴的なデザインを得意した。Holmgaard以降もGlassデザインを続け緻密で詩的な数々のアート的な作品も残す。人生のすべてをガラス製作に捧げたデンマークを代表するデザイナー。1998年没
