[アルネ・ヤコブセン]
1902-1971 デンマーク
1902年デンマーク・コペンハーゲン生まれ。1927年デンマーク王立芸術学校卒業。のち1956年〜1965年の間、同校の教授を務めることなる。Arne Jacobsenは1950年よりFritz Hansen社で仕事を始めアントチェア、セブンチェアな数々の名作を生み出す。1957年にはミラノ・トリエンナーレでグランプリを受賞した。その後SASロイヤルホテルの設計。建物だけでなくインテリアも担当。スワンチェア・エッグチェア・ドロップチェアなどは同ホテルのためにデザインしたもの。1957年にはミラノ・トリエンナーレでグランプリを受賞した。1971没 |
