1917-1993　スウェーデン
Hertha Bengtssonは1917生まれ。スウェーデンを代表するセラミックアーティスト。Rorstrandで活躍した1941-64年の期間には、Bla Eld(1949年),Kokaシリーズ(1952年)で人気を博す。その後1965-69年Hoganas,1970年以降、Thomas、Rosenthal、Ideal-Standardで活躍する。スウェーデン国内はもとより近隣諸国でも高い人気を誇っている。1993年にHertha Bengtsson基金奨学資金を設立、陶芸家を目指す若いアーティストへの奨学金を与え後継者育成に努めている。
