Ingrid Atterbergは1944-63年までUppsala-Ekeby/Gefle社のデザイナーとして働く。1954年にはミラノ・トリエンナーレにて金賞を受賞またUppsalaにプライベート工房を持ちフリーランスのデザイナーとしてイタリアの工房にも定期的にデザインを提供。Anna-Lisa Thomson,Mari Simmulson とともにUppsala-Ekebyの黄金期を築いた一人。
